Chemistry free plates to reduce our carbon footprint.

Since August 2021 we have now moved onto chemical free plate making, everything is now
done via a machine called “Kodak achieve platesetter”. We no longer use negatives so
everything is done digitally then processed onto plates, we have found this is a much better
and safer way of making plates.

ACHIEVE NEWS Platesetters are fully compatible with KODAK SONORA Process Free
Plates, so we can eliminate the plate processor along with all the water, energy and chemicals
used in processing. When imaging plates we have reduce our power consumption to only 400
watts.
